Founding Philosophy
RURI was established in Japan to revolutionize the way people use money to improve social impact by leveraging advanced technologies. At RURI, we believe technology should not only be leveraged to maximize financial gains, but also to enhance well-being of the society by solving social, environmental, economic and governance issues to help advance the human civilization. RURI believes “Truth, Goodness, Beauty and Satisfaction” to be the key driving force behind the advancement of the human civilization. At present we are sparking innovation in Sri Lanka to discover and tackle social and economic issues by testing new ideas, and pioneering meaningful solutions. DigitalGemTM Platform

DigitalGem is the digital twin of a physical gemstone in cyberspace. DigitalGem is a unique product of RURI which highlights physical identification tags such as high-quality three-dimensional view of the gem, multiple high-quality images of the gem, microscopic images of unique inclusions, laboratory reports and appraisal reports. RURI TRACE data with blockchain proof is also viewable and verifiable inside the DigitalGem.

Mutual Aid Platform (MAP)

Sri Lanka does not have a public health insurance system, and private
insurance is only available to limited population. RURI, in partnership
with HNB and Qolaq, will create Mutual Aid Platform (MAP) specialized
for Sri Lanka, which is cost-effective, transparent, democratic, and
decentralized system powered by blockchain.​

Fair Trade & Gem Life Platform (GLF)

Gemstone trading is a tangled web of hidden risks, from environmental damage and child labor to fake certificates and shady dealings. Know what you’re buying—choose transparency and integrity.

RURI is developing a supply chain of gemstone with high standards of quality, ethics, legal compliance, and transparency in Sri Lanka, one of the world leading gemstone-producing countries.
